A Mission of Presence
Presence is at the very heart of the Gospel message. One of the names of Jesus, Emmanuel, even means "God with us". Jesus came down to be among the people and to demonstrate for us the love of the Father (Romans 5:8). We cannot adequately demonstrate the love of God from a safe distance. We must be physically present among those people who need to hear the Gospel message and demonstrate to them the love of God in ways that draw them closer to Him.
